      Makes sense, don’t want to injure there best players when we’re already in to the R32

      Of course we do, but we’re playing against France. Why should we bother putting on our top players? They won’t be needed.

      I think they’ve been very upfront about that. They wanna go far, not burn out early.

      They are begging to lose at least 3-0 with that line-up. That’s not even Norway’s B team, it’s the C team.

      I don’t think there’s that big a difference between playing Ivory Coast or Sweden to be honest. Might as well get the rest

      We at least should experiment with a lineup that could win. This is just a we don’t give a fuck lineup against the strongest team.

      There exists a real aversion to playing Sweden unless absolutely necessary. As much as we like to joke otherwise, we really don’t want to knock out our friends.

      I think it’s better to be nr. 2 in that group. The bracket is easier on the other side.

      Wow! This comes as a big surprise for me. I think is not the usual approach to bench your best players when you still can aspire to a better place despite already being in. But a strat is a strat. But honestly, there’s not much of a difference finishing as 1st or 2nd of the group, and many would say that 2nd is maybe better overall.

      I think all opinions are valid, like for me I’d have loved to see Norway in full force facing the overall favorite team. I think it could be a good way to test the team and maybe even get a confidence boost in case of a favorable result. But at the same time I can see how the opposite could happen in case France wins convincingly. So there’s definitely different approaches to the match so I’ll trust the coach and the team in this decision.

      Tbh France is on the wrong here. Why would they play the best players and not rest them when they are through and the second place looks better than first.

      I dont think getting Mbappe the golden boot is worth not resting for one match and tbh France ‘B’ team could win the world cup. Just dumb management on my point of view

      Portugal won Euro in 2016 because they played the easiest bracket otherwise they had no chance

      I lived to experience last time around Norway was in a world cup. I’ve watched Norways wretched qualification efforts thru the 2000s og 2010s.

      Beside our jacked up first 11 I wager that any other year you’d be more than happy having these 11 play. There’s top acts in Jørgen Strand Larsen, Thorstvedt, his lordship Patrick Berg et all.

      There’s even still players sitting on the bench who haven’t have gotten any action yet who have dominated in Champions League (I am looking at you Jens Petter Hauge).

      Norway 2026 isn’t a team of 11 players. These rotational players are pure quality when looking at the bigger picture. They deserve respect and are not a second class act. Can France (maybe the most likely World Cup Winner) beat them? Sure – but their opposition today can and should literally beat almost any other team in the world.

      The Norway team are fake vikings…. They want to be second place in order to get to the easier side of the knockout phase, to avoid Spain, Germany, the Netherlands or Morocco. They’ve lost my respect
