Das Leben von Dariia Politun wurde am 21. September 2024 bei einem russischen Ork-Terroranschlag in Nikopol getötet. Eine russische Drohne traf das Auto, in dem das Mädchen mit der Familie ihrer älteren Schwester Olena Kolisnyk unterwegs war. Olena wurde ebenfalls getötet.

The life of 11-year-old Dariia Politun was taken by a russian orc terrorist attack on September 21, 2024, in Nikopol. A russian drone struck the car where the girl was traveling with the family of her older sister, Olena Kolisnyk. Olena was also killed.
Dariia was born and lived with her family in Zaporizhzhia. She studied in class 6-A at Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 86. She was interested in drawing and music. At school, she is remembered as a cheerful friend and a kind classmate.
“Dasha was a very calm, responsible, creative person,” said her class teacher, Iryna Protsiuk.
On September 21, Dariia and her loved ones were returning from their dacha.
“A drone was directed at the car. The husband and child of her older sister survived, with many injuries. Dasha died instantly,” Iryna Protsiuk said.
Dariia Politun is survived by her mother, father, and sister.
Rest in peace little one. You deserved better.
