Hallo !
Ich habe vor langer Zeit über ein Spiel gepostet, an dem ich gearbeitet habe, bei dem man als Zugschaffner durch das Belgien des 19. Jahrhunderts reist und alle möglichen Passagiere trifft, und es hat hier große Unterstützung gefunden.
Deshalb freue ich mich, dass ich das Spiel heute endlich offiziell angekündigt habe und dass Game Trailers (von IGN) unseren Ankündigungstrailer auf ihrem YouTube-Kanal veröffentlicht hat!
Das Spiel heißt jetzt Bon Voyage: Es handelt sich um ein handgemaltes Desktop-Begleitspiel mit Aquarellfarben, bei dem Sie Ihre Route auswählen und Ihren Zug verwalten, um Ihren Passagieren den besten Zugservice zu bieten. Das Gameplay findet an Haltestellen statt, sodass sich die Spieler während der Zugfahrt auf andere Dinge im Leben konzentrieren können. Ich mache dieses Spiel speziell für Leute, die normalerweise älter als junge Erwachsene sind und nicht so viel Freizeit haben, wie sie gerne hätten. Das Format ist speziell so konzipiert, dass es mit anderen, ernsthaften, fokussierten Arbeiten kombiniert werden kann (das ist zumindest die Hoffnung, ich mache hier etwas Neues und Experimentelles. Wenn jemand Lust hat, es zu testen und mir mitzuteilen, ob er sich wirklich darauf konzentrieren kann, lasst es mich bitte wissen!)
Derzeit arbeite ich an einer Demo, in der die Region südlich von Charleroi (Maas-Sambre-Tal) sowie Westflandern erkundebar sein werden, aber im Endspiel wird ganz Belgien bereisebar sein!

I’ve never even heard of a ‚desktop companion game‘.
It looks wonderful but I have no idea of the gameplay. What I can see from the trailer is a nice animation and writing a letter. Can I wishlist it on Steam?
Oh im definitely following this. I love the art style and you rarely see Belgium represented in games

How did you have it feature on gametrailers? is there a process? (I’m also making a game)
I’ll give you my honest opinion:
The game sounds great! I like the idee of using trains and it is also easy to expend, different city’s, country’s, different storylines of passengers, employe’s, etc…
Then i watched the trailer and felt dissapointed. I, personaly, don’t like the 2D version and the cartoon like images.
If it where 3D realistic images with ppl talking it would have been something i would try, espescially because it’s in and from Belgium.
This is my personal opinion, and i’m sure others think differently.
