I like the chances against South Africa, versus South Korea.

FYI, the rankings will probably change after this match as FIFA updates the new rankings based on wins/losses today, but as of this moment, South Korea is ranked #28 in the world, while South Africa is ranked #54 in the world: https://inside.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/men

    2. Let’s not take South Africa lightly because their performance against South Korea was inspiring but on paper a matchup against South Africa in the RO32 is a lot more favourable for us than South Korea.

Switch goalies. One went through him today and missed played the corner in gm1

Might be tough considering how they played against South Korea. Go Canada!!

    5. If we pick the right team, round 16 is assured. Today’s defeat was avoidable. The Swiss were there for the taking, but our selection and judgement were poor.

Better chances to move on but let’s not start looking ahead.

Also expect a LOT of hate on social media headed our way. All of Africa was livid Thomas Partey wasn’t allowed into Canada. They want us to lose badly.

    7. Regardless of who we are playing against, we need to start converting our chances against teams that are not Qatar.

    8. My only concern for our guys here is the quick turn around. Sunday is very soon.

So with our loss today we get an easier R32 matchup but a tougher R16 matchup from the looks of it.

It’s just not gonna be the same without the vuvuzelas, you know. Why did those FIFA fuckers have to ban them?

    11. Im not counting my maple trees before they’re tapped, but S Africa is ranked below Qatar.
