Hope she wins. Corporations in Japan do too much corrupted shit with coercion and other things.
you didn’t get her name right
The whole idol culture is just bonkers to me. None of this makes sense to a healthy normal human being.
峯岸みなみが丸刈りにされたときのことを思い出したよ。このアイドルユニットも秋元康も好きじゃない。
This is practically the Minegishi Minami situation all over again. I guess we learned nothing from that.
I feel like if I were a parent, I would straight up forbid my daughter from joining any idols groups.
Honest to God. Girl band fans need to grow the f up. Let women have some romantic, sexual, interpersonal pleasure.
Not leaving the guys out of this either, but the girls get far far more heat for this stupid shit.
Oh, no! A girl of legal age is in a consenting relationship with another person of legal age and they are touching squelchy, throbby parts on top of all that? Could you imagine someone not dedicating their every waking hour to hand shaking and singing, „I want you, I need you“ and has the nerve to share time with someone she wants and needs? She should shave her head.
Feels like this is the “real“ reason Japan doesn’t want to open Jpop to international audiences. Because they know international fans would start an online war with Japanese wierdos that fetishize “virginity” and cause immense widespread criticism towards certain things the industry just doesn‘t want to fix, but knows they would be forced to acknowledge if it got as big as Kpop.
What a hentai culture
Idol culture is disgusting anyway and makes no sense to a decent adult. Would love to see it come to an end one day
I thought it’s Mei Hanada?
I suppose all countries have some dark cultural aspects.
Primitive savages
What is this Minami Minegishi erasure!
Back in 2013 she was terminated from AKB because she was was caught spending the night at a guys place (it wasn’t a fan but a regular guy also in the entertainment business) but the agency said she voluntarily shaved her head before posting a tearful apology video.

Man, this sub and people who can’t read Japanese debating Japanese news.
Idol industry is exploitative yes, but that’s clearly not what happened here.
If you can read the article it clearly states she wasn’t terminated for dating a fan. She was terminated because she stopped showing up to work! In Japan, work regulations are extremely strict and if she was telling the truth she is well within her rights to sue for improper termination. The fact she hasn’t despite having already retained an attorney since the start of this whole episode suggests her case is not as simple as she is letting on.
