thanks to EU legislation, corruption is slowly getting better in austria.
Its getting harder from year to year for the corrupt party elites to make their Postenschacher and Insider Deals. Lately the new Transparenzgesetz made it harder for corruption on state and municipiality level to stay hidden. The Vorarlberger Wirtschaftskammer just have a taste of it, where they try to fend off pressure to publish their internal files, which will uncover some stuff they want to be covered, but its not easy anymore, and at some time they will have to give in and publish them.
The population isn’t in his camp either, at least for the most part. We surely have a batch of semi-senile racists who would gladly sell out their country to get to suckle on Vlad’s teets but for the most part Russia has a bad reputation
