    1. >The House gave final passage to a housing affordability bill on Tuesday, but on Wednesday, President Donald Trump said he would be cancelling the bill’s signing ceremony until lawmakers pass his controversial voter ID bill known as the SAVE Act.

      >“Today’s Housing News Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until such time as we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT, which I consider to be a National Emergency,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

      >Moments earlier, Trump had raged against “bad Republicans” for failing to eliminate the filibuster – a Senate rule that allows lawmakers to block a bill short of 60 votes – to pass the SAVE Act, which critics have described as a form of “voter suppression.” He also dismissed the housing affordability bill as being of “minor importance” when compared to the SAVE Act.

    2. He’s a terrorist.

Americans‘ livelihoods hang in the imbalance of his bullshit.

He wants permanent rigged Republican rule.

We’re headed towards a one party state.

Is it really shocking that as the midterms get closer, Trump wants to pass the bill that will help him maintain the balance of power? The pundits are annoying at this point, “why, what is he thinking?” The stupid idiot tells you what he’s thinking and doing every time. It’s always about saving his own ass!

Congress will be in session for over ten days, so if he does not sign it, it will become law. Not a lot of leverage there unless he vetoes, or congress leaves early, then it’s a pocket veto

    6. The “Save My Ass Act” is pure 1984 semantics for suppressing mainly mail in voting, which leaves a paper trail he can’t control. He well knows if he doesn’t get that done his administration is toast. Indictments, another impeachment, and no more unimpeded criminal activity is all on the table. Unless he’s able to get Musk back on board for another round of voter shenanigans.

I don’t believe he ever had intentions of signing it in the first place.

The Federal government has no business dictating to individual states how they run their elections.

    9. They marketed this fang-less housing bill as a win and their own guy won’t sign it. Making an easy (PR) win a major loss in front of everyone. This housing bill wasn’t even that good.

If was a republican vampire I would be seething right now.

If the President neither signs nor returns the bill within the 10-day period while Congress is in session, the bill automatically becomes law as if it had been signed.

He cant just declare a National Emergency like Michael Scott declares bankruptcy

Such a fucking idiot. Could have finally done something for the people but instead throws a tantrum because he doesn’t want women or minorities to vote, aka voter suppression. Take us back another hundred years you buffoon.

    13. A wacko deranged pervert narcissist acting weird isn’t shocking. It’s another day of the week for us.

We are only a step away from Trump shitting his diaper, then declaring it a national emergency, and demanding 1 billion dollars to change it.

      FUCK TRUMP

If we somehow manage to get the Legislature back, trump and ALL his enablers MUST go to prison. The Constitution MUST be held above all else.

      FUCK TRUMP

    16. If Congress holds out for a couple weeks, Trump will have to veto this bill, otherwise it automatically becomes law.

But the more important part here is Trump 👏🏻doesn’t 👏🏻care 👏🏻about 👏🏻us👏🏻.
