I guess its russia.
It could also be a technical fault but I really doubt it. Lets see what the news tell us when time comes.

As a German, I kinda wish it was Russian malice
Because otherwise it’s German incompetence 🤷♀️

I have the feeling of it’s russia. But let’s hope it’s our incompetence.

We’ve had multiple GSM-R failures in the UK this year as well, and a national (admittedly very short and not impactful) one in May.

I am a non- German speaking traveller, was going to Dortmund from Luxembourg.
My train was from koblenz to dortmund where I was supposed to stay.
I am currently stranded at Koblenz with no real info on when the trains will start running again.
Can someone tell me what my options are please?

Last time something similar happened here, iirc, it was 2022 and it was sabotage.
I’m relatively sure it is something like that again. The old GSMR radios are relatively easy to manipulate .. for a state actor. But let’s see. My thoughts are with those trapped in the trains, I’d go mental.

I thought they used deutsche Post for that

I am arriving on Eurostar into Brussels tomorrow around midday and meant to get a connecting DB train. Do people think this will last that long?

Na klar, hier das, in NL Streik – Richtig geil gerade für alle die nach Defqon und Luminosity in die Niederlande müssen. Und auf den Autobahnen noch Stau oben drauf. Sage mal hackt’s noch?
