This is a short excerpt from Motorway Cycles XII. It’s all manually played live on piano and synths from a series of rules. The piano part is three parts the synth is two.
The cars crossing the pink line dictate the rhythm of the piece and I make rules for pairs or single lanes that dictates and influences the harmony and composition.
