Hoping more groups perform in New Zealand in the future. Was surreal seeing IVE perform.
They lived up to their tour name and showed NZ what they have. Congrats to IVE and Kiwi Dives!
>stated that over 8,000 fans were in attendance
Is the market in NZ that small or is it just limited by the biggest feasible venue available?
But I hears from antis that IVE have no international impact?
Wish I could go:(
Another thing worth noting is that the article lists that IVE are due to perform in 19 countries during the tour. So far, they have either announced or performed in 12 countries (South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Macao, Australia and New Zealand so far, Canada, USA, Hong Kong and Taiwan to come), so that’s 7 countries to be announced. Hope for Europe and Latin America yet.
I also recalled that even Blackpink also cancelled their concert in Spark arena back then despite being huge globally. Rose and Jennie having lived in NZ wasn’t enough to drive ticket sales up. Well done to IVE for driving it up!! (Ps: sad for ITZY, they held their concert last year there).
it was seriously so packed, I stood in line for over 2 hours!! so worth it tho, the girls really outdid themselves
