    Die Methode einer Doktorandin der Botanik an der UFRN (Bundesuniversität Rio Grande do Norte) in Brasilien wurde von einem Professor einer spanischen Universität plagiiert.

      I mean, that’s really fucked up if true.
      But this is something she should be putting before his university’s ethics board so he gets actually punished as an academic professional, which she seems to have already done and is at the court level of things, I don’t know what she gets out of making it an emotional TikTok rant on top of that.

      Como estudiante de tesis, es increible la cantidad de parasitos y mala gente que hay en academia. Pobre mujer, espero que consiga algo!

The book is available online [https://octaedro.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/9788410792678.pdf](https://octaedro.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/9788410792678.pdf) and the chapter cites the previous work (Silva’s paper) and mentions the „inspiration“ from the work of Silva from the Congress where she presented her work. Maybe the argument Silva wants to make is that this is a bit more than „inspiration“ but this is not going anywhere. If the chapter had not included a reference to the prior work, the Spanish prof would be an SOB, but it’s there…

      Si esta citada en la bibliografía, ha inspirado su estudio en esto, que es el objetivo de la ciencia, que sea replicable (y es bueno que se replique porque significa que la metodología funciona) a partir de aquí es todo ego.

      Solo por aclarar, ¿están aquí peleándose sobre una metodología docente que se basa en utilizar bailes de Taylor Swift? ¿ y la ofensa es que un profesor tuvo mil euracos para implementar la metodología? Si quiere que suba el asunto a algún tribuna,l a ver qué le dicen, pero le veo poco recorrido
