The glorification and apologism of alcoholism has got to be the thing I hate the most about our culture.
Not saying Iβm an alcoholic but I really enjoyed Tbilisiβs love of wine. In a UK pub theyβll measure out precisely 125ml of wine (250 for a large glass) then charge you like Β£12 for it. There I went for a meal and the hostess kept putting more carafes/ glasses on the table throughout the meal. We thought the bill would be huge, but they were all complimentary. You guys are so much less stingy
