      No they indicate the shape of a new building. It allows individuals to see how the future contours look like and potentially complain / stop the plans to execute building

    4. Profiles for construction. They show the dimensions of a new to be built building. Need to be there while the construction permit is issued. Not related to military.

      Those are markers to outline the dimensions of the building thats going to be built there.

    6. It’s part of the planning application process. The sticks represent the space the proposed building would occupy.

    7. Those indicate the height and size of a building that is yet to be built. It’s mandatory in the proccess of getting a building permit.

      This question is asked here all the time, because apparently almost no other countries seem to do this.

      Okay folks but is saying “I don’t want that building there” enough to stop it from being built? What does it take? Anyone know?

    13. You can see the in many places. That’s the new Swiss Military rocket program. Budgeted at a modest 9.7 billion CHF, it is scheduled to go live in 2078 strictly between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 (excluding Weekends) to defend our highly neutral airspace from rogue, passport-less foreign storks.

      People tell you it’s to indicate the shape of new buildings, but of course it’s our local HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program).

      We don’t have much of an aurora anyway, so we also don’t need very big antennas.
