Happened not far from me, tried to upload video earlier, but apparently protest videos aren’t allowed anymore.

Anyway, very large crowd, didn’t go personally but know a lot of people who did, it definitely wasn’t some Far-right rally, albeit some would have been there and they’ll definitely take advantage of it.

It was a protest due to a lack of consultation, concerns around effects on already overrun local services, GPs, Schools etc. and of course fears of the prospect it’ll increase anti-social behaviour, and who exactly the people being put there will be

Odd they don’t protest single military age men from coolock causing chaos in surrounding areas…

    Good on them.

Enough of the name-calling. Enough of the classist sneering. Enough of the mischaracterisation. It’s time for the people of Ireland to be listened to.

Importing thousands of migrants from the third world and putting them up anywhere you can fit them is going to lead to problems. To do this while the country is still in the midst of its own cost of living & housing crises is abject insanity.

  4. Considering the young lads are now on their mid terms…….they’ll be running amok for the next 2 weeks…..the Guards and the Fire Brigade will be kept busy.

  5. Protests of this nature are attracting more people than the water protests did and are looking to be becoming the defining “popular” issue of this generation. It’ll be interesting to see how Harris comments

  6. You could transport the population of a South American jail into Coolock and it would reduce criminality.
