      Being detained for a week over a damaged passport is absurd. At the worst that should be a denied entry and turned around at the airport kind of situation. That’s completely inhumane.

      I wouldn’t think stains on a passport should be an issue at all unless you can’t read the info, then you should just be turned away and not detained. This is absurd and I hope she’s ok.
