Changed EU-laws prevent paid social media marketing from politicians so they’re going to do more stuff like this, trying to raise their profiles to get elected.

When a male from another party participated, he was aplauded. Double standards all the way.

Absolutely useless fuss and will be forgotten in 2 weeks, except for 1 or 2 Persu-voters.

For quite a while green could do this kind of things (poor communication and sort of arrogant outbursts) without fear of losing voters since they had pretty solid niche in political field.
But now greens are strugling against Vasemmistoliitto, which is ‚poaching‘ green voters and at least in public eye has gotten upper hand.

Typical diversion of the actual issue. She lied about why she was absent and as such still got paid, while she should have been honest about the reason why she was absent and would have gotten no pay… Nobody really cares if she did some reality TV show or not. Why is Yle producing such junk propaganda?

There has been members of parliament on each season. Mika Poutala was in government when he participated.
Someone is just butthurt they still haven’t been invited.

> Parliamentary speaker **Jussi Halla-aho** (Finns) said the speakers‘ council would be discussing the incident, noting that while it was understandable that MPs receive invitations to go on shows, missing work in the legislature was problematic.
Ok so it’s ok MPs can skip votes 🗳️ CONSTANTLY from both parties. But this. Oh. This is worthy of ‘incident’ and ‘discussion’. Halla-aho is so out of touch, he didn’t even know about his own child’s involvement with Nazi clothes.
Maybe he should spend less time working himself, and get his eyes open to reality.

I would have loved to see Sanna Marin take part in this show during her PM stint and kicking everyone’s ass
Imagine the persu butthurt resulting from that!

Mika Poutala missed a handful of sessions because of similar thing but he is a Christian Democrat so every time he misses a session it’s a positive thing for our country, if anything.
