Was Putin even a colonel? I’m being serious. How do we know he didn’t exaggerate his position in the KGB to sound more important than he was? It’d be classic Putin/narcissist to exaggerate their job.
Unless proven he might’ve been just a secretary at a desk job. And less of a Russian James Bond.
They were never the „defender of Christianity“ in fact everyone who has used this claim has just used it only for their own imperial ambitions.
