Ich bin neugierig, welche Stile, welches Make-up, welche Frisuren oder welche Modewahl bei jungen Frauen üblich ist, und was ist mit meinem Aussehen, das mich wie eine Touristin hervorstechen lässt, damit ich besser dazupasse, danke

Why try to fit in when you are just a tourist? I would somewhat understand it if you wanted to move and integrate into society, but just be yourself.
Why do you want to look like a local? I think you look great the way you are! And honestly if I saw you on the street I wouldn’t immediately assume you’re a tourist cause people have such varying styles and fashion preferences.
Be yourself. It’s pointless to try and buy extra clothes/makeup/accessories to try to “fit in”.
only thing i could MAYBE point to is that makeup trends could differ between norway and the us, but not very noticeably. what often gives americans away is an excessively loud demeanor or wearing athleisure everywhere ? but it doesnt seem like you’re doing either of these so idk, i wouldnt worry too much about it 🙂
Even if you perfect the look of a local there are so many things that make tourists, particularly americans, very obvious so why even bother. No one gives a shit, there are thousands of tourists
That „someone’s“ an idiot. If you reveal you’re a Norwegian be prepared for the red carpet. Everyone will want to show you everything that’s great about this country. No expense spared.

I would have thought you were Russian/Eastern European long before guessing American, that said I would not bat an eye if I walked past you in the street, as long as you don’t act disruptive, no one will notice you aren’t local, nor will they care.
