That nice and I cant stand Trump but america will look after american intreasts if the Israelis dont like that too bad.

Even allies have disagreements sometimes. Bibi, smortich and ben gvir and their lunatic supporters throwing fit in israel in their little disapora communties and in the evanglical churches is really cute you know it shows they only care to use America, suck it dry and toss us aside once intreasts diverge. Call us when they have a real leader back in power that isnt crazy.

Cry but once the us says no you better listen.

**Certain** Israelis are angry, notably the MAGA affiliated Israeli government and their far right supporters.

So much for Israel wagging the tail of America reddit is so fond of.

Honestly too, there shouldn’t be a ceasefire in Lebanon unless hezzbollah is forced to finally follow UN resolution 1701.

I saw comments on r/israel yesterday that said “time to join China I guess”. These people aren’t our allies. No amount of money spent or American lives lost is meaningful to them if they don’t get what they want.

The Americans are planning to invade Cuba, so they have to wind down Iran in the next 2-3 weeks. The Israelis better tie up some loose ends right now because the US is going to abandon the region. Netanyahu promised that Iran was going to fall quickly like Venezuela, or that at least Trump will have an Iranian Delcy, but that didn’t happen.

Marco Rubio is under intense rehearsal to nail the part where he steps off the plane in Havana to a crowd of cheering Cubans. What he’s going to wear in Cuba is much more important to him than the complete occupation of South Lebanon.

Sorry Israel, you guys overpromised and underdelivered. Maybe better luck next time with the sequel.

      Cry harder, genociders.

We should never have been involved in this war. If we have to pay reparations and leave Iran in a stronger place, so be it.

The imbecile we have for president got us into a gamble, and we lost.

Let Israel fend for itself if it wants to continue.

Hell, we should start negotiating with Iran strictly bilaterally – „Don’t shoot our bases in the Gulf region, and we don’t attack you, and here is the reparation money. We reserve the right to help Israel in a LEGITIMATE(*) war of self-defense within its internationally recognized borders, but that’s it.“

(*) A war of self-defense is legitimate under international law as long as it is not a war of aggression, occupation, or annexation. The smart play for Israel is to GTFO Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights and stay within its borders like civilized countries do.

Israel (and the entire region) will never be safe as long as Israel occupies territories and populations that do not belong to it.

Kinda hard to negotiate regional stability when one side’s already committed to escalation, even if a deal doesn’t go their way.

Technically Israel can learn a pretty good lesson here, even if it gets isolated in the world – just threaten shipping/economy via Suez Canal for example and then its all good and buddy buddy by the world.

The war was certainly an excuse for someone to turn Lebanon into Gaza 2.0.

Trump’s attention is turning to this hemisphere, come what may between Israel and Iran. As America’s northern neighbour this turn is more ominous.
