Summer in Finland = Rain
This is Finnish summer. And it’s good for the nature that it rains from time to time.
Yeah that’s Finnish summer for you. But are we supposed to also do Geoguesser? GO! 😄
Having some rain in summer is why you also have all those trees in that photo.
Never say goodbye
Rest of the Earth is on fire. Good thing that rain attractor machine exists, which we don’t have.
It’s always like this. May is sunny, june is rainy, july’s gonna have that one week with couple >30°C days. Every year.
This is common during extreme El Niño years. 1998, for instance, was extremely wet in the Nordic countries.
It’s good in the sense that lakes and wells are refilled, and the price of electricity is low.
If you’re on vacation and want sunshine, I’d recommend France or Italy instead, as it’s not likely to get better.
