      As a result of the massive attack on Kyiv, a fire broke out on the grounds of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

      Details: Klitschko reported a fire on the grounds of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, specifically on the roof of the Dormition Cathedral.

      According to Tkachenko’s preliminary information, the fire started as a result of a direct hit.

      Tkachenko’s direct quote: “The ignition of structures on the grounds of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra has been confirmed. Preliminary information indicates it was the result of a direct hit.

      We are currently determining the extent of the damage caused by the Russians. Measures are being taken to localize the fire within security protocols.”

      Updated: Later, Tkachenko reported significant damage to the Lavra.

      Tkachenko’s direct quote: “According to operational information, the damage on the Lavra grounds is substantial, and there is a serious fire. The Russians deliberately struck at the heart of one of the greatest Christian holy sites!”

      I wondered when this would happen. Wars that go on this long end when everybody’s dead and everything is destroyed. The west need to severely punish any companies or nations who still trade with Russia, and to fuck Russia up. Until that happens, which it almost certainly wont, thousands more will die for no reason

      My predictions:

      MAGA Americans will say that it was a pagan temple anyway and the only true Christians of Russia did the works of God by destroying the house of Satan (Despite both being Orthodox of course).

      Russia will say that the Ukrainians bombed themselves.
