What’s up with the placement of the Canada and US labels? There’s plenty of room for either so why are they clustered together and switched vertically?
Also the India label line doesn’t even hit India, same with Kenya.

It’s not accurate to say it’s the same subscription in every country, offerings vary by country.

These prices are insane. I stopped pirating when Netflix was reasonable and offer cheap ad free viewing with a ton of content.
Now you got very limited content with ads in your face every 5 minutes. The worst of both worlds.

The whole reason that they have different prices in different countries is so that they can even offer services in the poorer countries.
If they were forced to charge the same prices everywhere, they would probably only serve US, CA, Europe, Japan, Australia, and a few other countries.
For those who are like „Oh yeah, let’s sign up while on a VPN in Egypt.“ Well, I am in Egypt, and I’m going to tell you now that they’re library is much smaller, and there is a lot of content missing because it doesn’t get past the censorship board. Like, I tried to watch Divergent the other day (I was curious, don’t @ me), but even though it’s listed as being on Netflix, I couldn’t find it.
So yeah, it’s cheaper, but it’s also a smaller library.
Just as an FYI, the content libraries aren’t the same for every country so if you decide to go through the effort of getting a VPN and sorting out a local payment method, you might want to double check that it has what you’d like to watch.

I live in Switzerland, but eastern European/EU sign up works just fine; paid through a wise cc. Turkey etc not so much.

The standard ad-free 1080p plan in the netherlands is 15,99 euro not 18,49 euro,
luckily the 720p ad-free version for 9,99 euro is still availible.

It is not the same subscription though. The database of movies and tv shows available to you are radically different, based on your location. This is true for Netflix and Prime. Source: We have both subscriptions in 3 locations, so we do not have to toy with vpns.
