The Falcon 9 was a brilliant concept, the BFR may be Elons Space Goose. I don’t see it being used for the lunar program for quite some time. The hopefully unlikely chance that a nuclear power currently suffering a tactical disadvantage due to inferior space infrastructure, explodes an emp tuned nuke above their own territory wiping out most space infrastructure would be catastrophic.
