Remind me of that time where a turkish guy said he found another ethnicity quite hairy.

Everyone was like „bro, you’re turkish, you’re literraly the final boss of hairy men“.

Is that dark spot in Northern Japan because of the Ainu people?

I wonder why such hair was increased by natural selection? Was there something beneficial about the hair or was it tied to another trait?

As a bald guy from New Zealand it feels like this map is somehow singling me out.

All those Sasquatch and Yeti sightings were actually just Balkan men on vacation

Why are hairy countries also hot ones but it doesn’t even follow that pattern everywhere? Wouldn’t it make sense that the colder the area, the hairier the people?

    7. That explains why so few men in Korea have chest hair. When I was young, it was quite a shock to learn that humans can have chest hair. No one in my family has it, and my mom doesn’t even have visible, thick hair on her arms. She doesn’t even need to shave in the summer; there are only one or two strands on her arms and legs anyway. Unfortunately, she sneezes a lot because she has less nose hair too.

    8. What’s going on in the coastal PNW that’s different than further south or inland?

    9. My dad is probably the least hairy Turkish man ever. My mom is a beautiful Ecuadorian lady who trims her unibrow and gets her moustache lasered…

I have a ridiculously hairy bottom half of my body, a hairless chest, and I’m completely incapable of growing a beard that doesn’t look like peach fuzz

So are these „physical anthropologists“ just like professional „bikini inspectors“?

Matches up pretty much exactly to bidet usage around the world. No surprise there.

    12. Makes sense. More or less fits into the Neandrethals former range. Most of us inherited small amounts of their DNA and generally hairier traits.

    13. Portugal and Spain have quite high results compared to the descendants they left in the new world, is it a recessive trait that was lost when they mixed with the natives and slaves?

    14. I wonder how this is measured, as people in Scandinavia have lighter hair. I’m guessing it’s more than just looking at the person, and going „hairy“?

This Mediterranean Sea is a curse.

(I’m only 2 kilometres away from it 😆)
