    1. He is the largest spreader of disinformation in the world. He is incredibly dangerous.

    2. Literal Bond villain behaves like a villain. Why are we tolerating this? Algorithmic social media needs to be banned.

When you have enough data on people at scale, and decades of research on how to influence them, then targeted tools like this massively influence people. Tools like that should not be allowed to exist. This would seem obvious.

    3. The man who bought one of the biggest social media platforms and uses it to push far right narratives and propaganda onto everyone’s feed is responsible for pushing far right narratives and propaganda?

Nah sounds like bollocks to me /s

really the billionaire class, want us to fight amongst ourselves, whoever would have thought that.

Just ban Twitter holy shit, if you can ban 8chan you can ban this, it’s just a social media service there’s loads of others and a lot of them take their safe harbour requirements seriously instead of just pissing on them

Pretty sure it’s the people trying to behead people, and the State trying to censor it, that is causing the anti-migrant narratives.

Elon’s platform simply allows people to post the videos – and therein lies the rub. The UK government don’t want the populace informed with video of what is happening because that means the populace realise they’re being massacred in the streets.

The same people saying „don’t post the video, it removes the dignity of the victim and the family“ are the same people/media who happily then post video of the riots of people dragging migrants out their houses and beating them up. Where’s their dignity? What about their family?

Then people get angry at anti-migrant violence.

See, video works, video riles people up, and the system will censor the migrant attacks, but won’t censor the anti-migrant attacks. They then claim the censoring is for dignity, but seemingly not for the other half.

It’s called a narrative. Stop being fooled by them.

He’s a digital terrorist, a threat to national security and should be prosecuted.

I thought it was the amount of heinous crimes committed by illegal and legal migrants that was behind the unrest. But alas, its Elon.

I couldn’t stand X before but it’s been good recently to find out what’s happening. If you only get your news from the BBC you would have a very distorted view of recent news.

It’s made me wonder how many things we’re completely in the dark about because videos weren’t posted online and the truth has been redacted?

I’ve never been a conspiracy theorist, but the contrast between what actually happened in Belfast for example, and the media reporting “man stabs someone” was pretty jarring. I’m sure that fuelled a lot of anger.

I pretty much exclusively watch Sky News and read Reddit but I’ll definitely be cross referencing news on X in future to see if there’s any information they think the proles shouldn’t know about.

    10. This is silly, these people dont need Musk to help, theyre perfectly capable of doing it all on their own.

It’s a dark foreseeable future for the world where the richest man in the world is a fascist bastard and sticking his fingers everywhere.

    12. I wish someone would go in and hack his own algorithm. If he stopped getting his brain boiled for 48 hours straight, I could see him actually being a force for good in the world

    13. I think it’s time for a new law and penalty – use your online digital platform to spread misinformation = forfeiture of all privately owned shares in any company to the UK government.

    14. LostTheGameOfThrones on

Wow, I sure hope this dangerous, vile cunt doesn’t get rewarded by becoming quite literally the richest man in history or anything.

What’s the point of being able to buy anything and not be able to force your socially awkward point of view in the world????

    16. starting to think a man with no need of money might have bought a massive social media platform for reasons aside from profit.

Its insane though as on one hand hes clearly happy to spread disinfo to his own benefit: but on the other hand his ket addiction and lonliness has got him to the point that a lot of this disinfo and crackpot shit does influence him in turn.

    17. I wonder if the government would consider a visit from Musk “not conducive to the public good”.

      Somehow I doubt it.

    18. Yes, let’s ignore what the majority of the people actually want in the UK and just blame Elon Musk.
