      Cupid definitely the biggest 4th gen hit, and overall one of the biggest kpop hits.

      „first 4th gen“ honestly undersells it, I believe they’re the only one outside BTS and BP and the solo acts from those two groups,

      The song actually reached 1B back in 2025 when the Twin version was merged with the live OT4 version by mistake in 2024. As the result, when people went to 50/50’s profile and play the Twin Ver at the top, the live OT4 version would be played instead and this went on for a very long time until one random day in 2025, the company decided to fix this and separated the two versions and the result of that is the Twin ver dropped from 1B to around 910M while the live OT4 got a whopping 89M streams because of this „mistake“. The company is somewhat stupid imo 🤣 It would have 1,1B streams right now and the achievement of reaching 1B in 2 years is much more impressive than reaching this milestone in 3 years.
