    1. Reading the article, its such a shame that the defense army doesnt help with buying some of the tech thats been domestically build. Even if it isnt needed, they should still buy a handfull of drones for example for multiple reasons. E.g. to keep funding the companies making them and also to use these handfull just for educational purposes for soldiers if they are not going to be used anyway

      I know many people expect Armenia to produce all its weapons, but let’s face it: since the agricultural age, no country has ever produced all its own military equipment. Even the Romans relied on horses from North Africa and timber from Western Europe. Given Armenia’s current size, a more suitable approach is to first import equipment, then produce parts and ammunition domestically, gain experience, and finally establish a domestic military industry. This is precisely what the government is currently pursuing.
