Ich habe mir „Inglourious Basterds“ gerade noch einmal angeschaut, und ich denke, als Autor ist es ein klares Zeichen dafür, dass der Autor sich (oder seine Meinung) definitiv irgendwann einbringen wird. Die Stimmung des gesamten Films besteht darin, das Publikum mit einer fiktiven Fantasy-Handlung zu erheitern, in der es darum geht, Hitler zu töten und das jüdische Volk zu rächen. Wenn man den Film vor dem Hintergrund der jüngsten Ereignisse und der Tatsache betrachtet, dass seine Frau Israelin ist und er nach Israel gezogen ist, deutet er irgendwie darauf hin, dass er weiß, was passiert, oder dass er daran beteiligt sein könnte.

Slightly related, as much as I enjoy his films, I think about his connection with the Weinstein company, and the autonomy they offered him (while they really screwed with everyone else. Listen to Rob Zombie talk about working with the Weinsteins). Q was surely aware of something.
Then he, along with a couple other big celebs, chose to leave the United States. I’m not accusing him of anything, but let’s just say I wouldn’t be shocked if he turns out to be a criminal creep.

Loved his movies through Kill Bill. I couldn’t get past 45 minutes of Inglorious Bastards. I went to bed, telling my ex “This feels like a Jewish revenge snuff film.” Woke up later to the last scene that I could hear from my bedroom, walked into the living room and saw my ex staring at the screen in horror. Haven’t watched a Tarantino film since. Fining out his weird fetishes and that he almost killed Uma being reckless just cemented my disgust. I will pretend that his filmography ended with Kill Bill. His close ties with Weinstein don’t help my suspicion that he’s a fuckin’ creep. And kind of finding out that Epstein might have just been an Israeli agent getting kompromat on politicians and celebrities and millionaires doesn’t help.
