no taxation without representation, can the foreigners taking part in the obligation of civil defence also take part in the politics that are forming such rules?
Is this specifically for Zivilschutz or also Zivildienst? Because as someone who is in Zivilschutz and hasn’t been drafted like ever, I don’t see the point. In some Gemeinden there are waaaaaay more people in Zivilschutz than are actually needed.
Only citizens should serve civil service simple as it is. The foreigners already pay the taxes. They don’t get privileges like voting rights and they don’t get obligations.
