Tennessee became the first state in the nation to launch a rulebook for nuclear fusion reactors on Tuesday.
Type One Energy plans to build a 400 megawatt fusion plant near Oak Ridge. It will function as a fusion development campus through projects between Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Tennessee Valley Authority and the University of Tennessee.
It will be among the first licensees under the new framework.
