      The biggest event on earth and the US is using every possible opportunity to get bad press from it. They couldn’t be doing a worse job if this was planned by committee.

      Russia used the world cup to present a new vision of what the country was. China used the beijing olympics to show the world of rise as a new great power, the US is using the greatest event on earth to be petty, cruel and vindictive for no reason.

      They should have never been chosen in the first place tbh
