I don’t have an issue with students, but 20k illegal migrants is no small matter. Identifying and deporting them takes a lot of resources, so it would be better if it were monitored more strictly.
The country can’t even produce milk and tea biscuits, the average is wage is $500 at best and yet acts like it’s Caucasian Sweden, where the whole world is just dying to come and work.
Didn’t they already stop state universities from accepting foreigners? So, this is aimed at the private universities?
Are they trying to completely kill the whole foreign student thing in Georgia? Its a huge money maker and has potential benefit from people either staying and becoming productive members of the economy or returning home and saying what a great place Georgia is and how others should go there for an education.
Or… i’m going out on a limb here, GD don’t care about any of that and just don’t want brown people here?
