Most of the other hosts converged upon the same sort of content shortly after Trump hit the scene. You know what I’m talking about.

    2. I miss him and Geoff, he was the only true successor to Letterman’s NBC show.

    3. I miss him and JRT and the show so much.

It felt like they were making a show just for me and my sense of humor.

I made my ex girlfriend watch a compilation of him flirting with female guests on his show, because she knew his voice from How To Train Your Dragon.

      Instant fan. Dude’s a treasure

      *“WHO’S THAT AT THE DOOR!?“*
and it’s just trump doing his double handjob dance…

I’m sure it was, but I still miss him very much! He was my all time favorite and the only one I watched every day.

      I can’t recall him being political…

As a someone not from the usa it was refreshing understanding the monologue all the way through.

I judge new stars on how well I think they’d perform an awkward pause. Like I don’t think Chalamet would do well; he wouldn’t get it. Tom Holland would kill it.

Out of many, many fantastic episodes he hosted on The Late Late Show, one of the purest giggle/love fests was his having Antony Head come on to delight one and all.🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

    10. His interviews with Robin Williams were next level. Those dudes played off of each other perfectly. Craig absolutely held his own with the legendary Robin Williams. Best late night host next to Conan for me.

I was just thinking about Craig the other day.  His old friend (from Rocky Horror, I think) Tony Head died a few days ago.

It’s been a decade and I still miss him. He had it down to a fine art.

    14. if they ever try an american version of taskmaster (and unless its greg & alex don’t bother) & need an american host – i vote for Craig Ferguson & Geoff Peterson (robot skeleton).

His Britney Spears monologue was incredible. He also handled the Boston bombing and Colorado movie theater shootings with such class.

HE may think so…but I think we all missed out of Geoff roasting that worthless pile nightly.

    17. „It’s a great day for America!“ would definitely hit a little different.

He helped me stay sober. A person on TV talking about sobriety with seriousness and with a joy gave me the roadmap to follow.

    19. Absurdity only works when real life is not absurd. I understand the logic completely.

    20. I loved Ferguson and always enjoyed him slagging off trump. We were both confused why someone who managed to bankrupt a casino was thought of as a great businessman.

    21. And James Corden timed his exit well relative to the actors and writers union strikes right after his exit. Unfortunately nothing took their place in the network schedule.
