For those of you not paying attention, this is about getting rid of PSED. PSED is a bunch of employment protections. The Tories don’t give a fuck if you get murdered on the street and they never have, because fourteen years of those morons in charge is how we got here.
You know what Tories want? They want to get rid of PSED so that companies can fire women for getting pregnant. That’s the long and the short of it. There are other protections in there too of course, they want to get rid of them too, but the fact you can’t just sack a woman for needing to take some time out of the office to have a baby always got their goat.
