    1. A new state-by-state approval map shows a significant gap between approval and disapproval ratings for President Trump across much of the country. While a handful of states show positive net approval, the majority trend negative, highlighting the deep political divisions that continue to shape the United States.

      National Net Approval:

      👍 36.6% Approval

      👎 59.8% Disapproval

Why is idaho so conservative? In most social and political polls, it always stood out to me as this incredibly conservative place. I thought in usa, it was Mississippi or Alabama which were conservative but I never heard any american talk about idaho’s conservative attitude.

      General thoughts on this:

Historically unpopular president is historically unpopular.

Though I have to question the data, polling has been a bit unreliable and somehow trump backed candidates keep winning.

Also, all 7 people in Wyoming must be having a blast for some reason.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Wyoming, Idaho and West Virginia think he’s doing great!

Does NOT mean that states in red will vote  blue. See 2016 and 2020 and 2024

For reference, the dark green states contribute slightly more than 1% to the US population.

I’m not even American and I strongly disapprove of Trump and his performance

I’m sick and tired of these posts when more than 1/3 are still approving his performance. Isn’t 1/3 from the total population of USA that got him elected the last time?

Tell me when it drops below 10%, or even 20% FFS. Before that it’s just a big nothing burger.

    9. As much as I don’t care for the man, this map is extremely misleading. Most of these percentages are less than half.

Trump has been a godsend to our great nation. He has saved our country from turning into France and the Rest of Europe with their open borders. we have preserved our culture and it came at a cost but we have not lost our identity. He will be remembered as the president with the greatest comeback in political history. The country saw what it turned into during Biden , and realized. Maps can be drawn in any direction. but the true patriots know the truth.

    11. People have been posting maps like this since 2016, yet Trump still does exceptionally well whenever he runs for president.

I hate to break it to those unaware, these polls are skewed and in no way reflect popular opinion.

Edit: This map things Trump is unpopular in Florida, the state he’s responsible for making a republican stronghold. Come on now…

36,6% still approve. Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t that pretty much the amount of people that voted for Trump? So MAGA hasn’t really changed its opinion of him.

I wonder if you overlay the education rate map, if patterns will start to emerge…

    14. Please don’t post AI slop here. I hate him too but this is /r/mapporn. The abbreviations are incorrect in at least one place and New England states apparently don’t merit a label.
