    1. What about banning every single russian besides those who have been in prison for protesting or had a residence permit already?

I suppose this will extend to Israeli who have engaged in Gaza, and are engaging in WB and now Lebanon?

    3. I have mixed feelings about it. On paper, it seems reasonable, but given that conscription is mandatory, visa denials should be subject to judicial review. Fuck Poutine.

If they even manage to get some data on who actually fought, it’s gonna be some poor ass conscript who was eating mortar shells in a fkin trench.

    5. This has been discussed again and again and makes really no sense and it’s barely possible to implement. How would you know? Who would say oh yes I served. How would you prove otherwise if someone said I was forcibly drafted as, iirc conscription for the Russian army was always happening, and if I also recall correctly they were grabbing people in random places and forcing them into the army. And then someone can say yeah I was in the army and I was 300km away doing paper work or logistics and never saw a day in combat.

You’d have to ban anything that says male and Russian and over 18 in their ID since 2014 let’s say or at least 2021-22, you just can’t inforce this. Either ban total entry for everyone, literally everyone, which is the most sensible and possible thing to do, or scrap this delusional crap, and no you cannot say we hacked you and stole your military records and decided who to ban entry it just doesn’t work this way.

    6. As if people who went to Ukraine to fight against “decaying west” would want to go to EU…

I’ve met some. For some of them it is not a choice, and others not an informed choice. I’m not sure it is fair.

They need to make clear rules what counts as „fought in Ukraine“. If the restrictions only apply to people that actually crossed the border the EU would be blind sighted to all the people who were responsible for glide bomb, missile and long distance drone attacks on Ukraine.

If we only count in the 2 examples above we still ignore the military personnel which was involved in logistics that enable Russia to bomb and occupy a European country.

There should be 0 ambiguity who is allowed to enter and who is not.

    9. Why do that for conscripted against their will(sometimes) soldiers, and not about the one that are making it so said soldier get conscripted?

    10. did any country do this with the Wermacht? I mean, come on. Stop with the virtue-signaling VdL.

How do they know who fought in Ukraine or not though? I feel like that can be hidden by Russia anyway

Is it this time of the year? Instead of dealing with the real issues : EU proposes to stop being mean to people

    13. All kacaps, not only those who fought. Those who made shells, rockets, grenades .. etc.
