It’s Graham Platner SZN in Maine.
I’ll break down every election from now on for ya.
It was either an win or stolen.
People need to pay attention to the SC Republican primary for the Senate. Lindsey Graham is more vulnerable than a lot of people think. There has been very little polling done since the Iran war, but what we do have shows him barely over %50 in the primary. Now at the end of the day he will get the nomination but him going to a runoff would show a massive shift away from the incumbent. Another major point to look at here is voter turnout. Early voting is at record highs and we can pretty safety assume that is majority dem which would mean that we have high voter turnout from the left. Low turn out can absolutely translate to low turnout in a general. I’m not saying this is a lock for Dems by any stretch of the imagination, but what I am saying is the fact that SC is even a conversation at this point shows a enormous shift away from the current administration.
I have some questions if anyone wants to help key in,
On the ND ballot, there are two measure I am wondering about.
SCR 4008 is about term limits, setting a 4 year limit, and also prohibiting further ammendments regarding term limits.
So term limits. Good or bad? If we have a candidate we love and want to keep voting for them after their limit then we can’t. But I keep hearing about how no term limits can be bad because the same people stay in power too long and that can lead to corruption. So I’m in the air.
Next question comes BACK to that measure. SCR 4007 is about limiting measures to one amendment at a time. So it looks like SCR 4008 has two ammendments in it.
Just want everyone’s blunt opinions and ideas while I ponder this myself.
Personally I’m way more invested in what will affect schools and whether kids will get free lunches. There is a measure for free lunches but also the candidates for superintendent have different ideas.
Would love to hear any feedback about Levi Bachmeier, Tracy Foss, and Charles Tuttle.
