Just a heads up but don’t watch the video. It’s brutal. I didn’t want to see it but it’s getting spammed in comments.

      >Widespread condemnation after ‚brutal‘ Belfast stabbing

I don’t think stabbings are generally celebrated. Based on some posts by some of the usual fringe ‚politicians‘, you’d think all their Christmases came at once though.

    3. Saw the video, absolutely fucking horrible. You have to be a Fucking savage animal to do that to anyone.

A friend of mine is in Carrickfergus and he just got a message (one of those „forwarded many times“ type things) basically calling for all males over 18 to get out there and riot. Could be a long day up there.

RTE downplaying it as a stabbing incident. When the video evidence literally shows a beheading attempt.

    6. The video and stills all over social media makes it very hard to avoid, which means its hard for kids to avoid as well. Keep an eye out for them, because there maybe some who need support

    7. Poor lad that was stabbed is still alive, but going to be fairly fucked up after this. I only watched the video once and have no interest in examining it. Hopefully his eyes are ok and he survives

    8. Honestly, as I get older, the more I think shit like this should come with the death penalty. Someone that does something like this cannot be rehabilitated.

OK, now that we’ve got the condemnation, are we going to see some actual action?

    10. Genuinely why is this person here?

Can anyone explain what benefit this person migrating to Ireland has made to ANYBODY?

Somalia has been in a civil war for a long time.

The current period has been from 2009.

Child soldiers were a big part of the civil war.

It’s extremely dangerous to have them come to the country with zero support.

I get asylum seekers…but just letting them run wild without any medical evaluation will lead to more of these incidents.

Mental health is not a thing in Somalia…last count was 83 mental health professionals out of 18 million people….just 83.

Hundreds of thousands and more have PTSD.
