    1. The guy who knows about all the dirty laundry, telling us what kind of person Paxton actually is

    2. Dentonthomas on

For those who did not watch: Paxton had multiple lawyers.

Dan Cogdell mostly behaved like a good defensive attorney. He seemed very competent and professional.

The other guy was boorish, claimed the Bushes were framing Paxton, and even mocked a Texas Ranger during his closing.

Cogdell seemed disturbed by that behavior and tried to walk it back, granted that was part of his job.

    3. Consider donating to Talarico, and any other candidate that speaks to you, this midterm! We need to make this too big to rig, we can do this!

This is the kind of news rural MAGA voters ignore. We have a significant portion of the voting base that does not live in reality.

He’s building a big tent, while Paxton is stuck in the mud with impeachment and criminal charges.

They’re going to pull every dirty trick in the book for this one. Paxton is grossly corrupt, a known adulterer, and completely incompetent. He’s exactly the type republicans fight tooth and nail for.

“My client, the honorable Henry T. Fleming, should go right to fucking jail! The son of a bitch is guilty!”

    8. Telling the world what you know about a crooked politician without breaking lawyer-client privilege. I approve of this message.

Damn, when your own DEFENSE lawyer openly states he endorses your opponent, just how bad a person are you?

My previous post was taken down because of too many exclamation points.

Talk about an article that would be hidden on conservative subs faster than … well a lot of things.

Anyone remember when something like this would torpedo a persons political career for life? Now it’s just every day news. It’s pathetic.

Just a quick reminder, all of the charges and accusations against Paxton were brought about by REPUBLICANS on his own staff. That’s how unlawful his actions were. His own people turned him in and then the (majority of the) great people of Texas decided to ignore it.

    14. How bad of a person do you have to be, for your lawyer to endorse the other guys

Paxton’s defense lawyer knows just how dirty he really is. Unfortunately, he’s bound by attorney-client privilege so the real truth won’t come out.

Talarico is incredible and people like him are the future of American politics…they HAVE to be. We can’t keep electing cryptkeepers.

      They better put this everywhere.

      Air it out.

Make Fox News have to bring it up.

Bring it to the people’s attention.

As a Texan, I think Talrico speaks for our state. His moderate policies are something we can get behind.

    19. When the worst thing you can find on a guy to try and attack him with is he is vegan… and it isn’t even true…. thats Talarico

I mean, if this doesn’t tell you everything you need to know, you’re dense

    21. cat4hurricane on

You know it’s bad when the man who defended you against impeachment doesn’t even want to vote for you. What a damning statement that makes against you.

    22. ILikeYourHotdog on

“If you voted for John Cornyn, you have a place in this campaign,” Talarico said in a statement. “If you’re a Republican tired of the corruption you’re seeing in government, you have a place in this campaign. Even if you’re Ken Paxton’s impeachment lawyer, you have a place in this campaign.”

      So good.
