Nothing makes people want to leave your orbit quite like reminding them they’re in it.

    2. Russia still acts like it is a global power, trying to bully their neighboring countries.

Truth is theSoviet Union has fallen apart decades ago, and Russia was but a small part of that. The rest of the world is moving along while Russia is fanatically trying to ‘create a Russian empire’ and failing, their power is waning and they getting rightfully ignored more often en often.

The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has counted 94% of the ballots.

According to these data, the currently ruling Civil Contract party is in the lead, with a result of 50.07%

    4. >Four political forces enter the new Armenian parliament. Pashinyan’s Civil Contract leads with 49.81%, followed by Samvel Karapetyan’s pro-Russian „Strong Armenia“ alliance at 23.29%, the „Armenia“ electoral bloc at 9.94%, and the Prosperous Armenia party as the fourth force in parliament.

Of course the party that is for a weak Armenia, subservient to Russian interests, would call itself “Strong Armenia“. George Orwell 1984 all over again.

Why is Putin such a big pussy? He could have built Russia a brand of prosperity but instead he chooses to crawl back to a dead empire.

    6. Lmao the title didn’t even bother spelling out Armenia. What a sad, sad piece…

Who still believes what he says except Russians?
He just made another vietnam in Ukraine, like the Soviets had in Afghanistan…

Who would he be capable to open another front?

    8. Its the Boy who cried wolf, but there is no wolf. „I am strong and I will beat you up if you dont join my club. I am strong and I will beat you up if you dont join my club. I am strong and i will beat you up if you dont join my club … Oh no i got beat up. Now nobody will join my club“

    9. „former Soviet Republic“ it’s insane that the fact we’re talking about ARMENIA isn’t mentioned in the headline

Armenia called upon Russia during the war with Azerbaijan. Russia did nothing. Now a whole city is cleansed of Armenians in the last 5 years.

Very understandable that Armenia wants to leave Russia behind.

I hope Armenia gets admitted to the EU earlier than Turkey. That would be so funny and a slam to Turkey’s ego.

    13. Putin’s getting his shit rocked by Ukraine.
Is warning other countries they could be in a situation where they will also be rocking his his really a threat?
„We are losing a protracted war against a much smaller country! Do you want to be in that situation whilst Mighty Russia fights the war on two fronts, making its forces weaker??“
Yeah piss off back to your bunker.

Radio Yerevan was asked: „Is it true that the Armenian people requested the help of the glorious Russian Army?“

Radio Yerevan answered: „In principle, yes. The request was made in 2023, and it will be granted in 2026.“

    15. I know a bunch of Ukrainians from eastern Ukraine who were really pro Russian. None of them are anymore. Putin is a fkin idiot, truly.

    16. Ukranian scenario? Is that where hundreds of thousand of russians die and their economy goes to shit? Damn, no need to threaten us with a good time.

    17. Why do people writing these headlines avoid using the name of the country? It’s ARMENIA who is obviously much more than just being a former Soviet Union member.
