Wasn’t there something that said Japanese people didn’t believe prostitution to be cheating? Whats with the weird switchup here

If that’s true, it’s merely because the spouse is being “publicly embarrassed”. From what I’ve read about Japan, it seems pretty common in Japan for wives to tell their husbands “go find it somewhere else” and that usually means like sex clubs or sex work or whatever. Basically seems like “as long as you don’t publicly embarrass me, whatever” and social media would seem to be a social embarrassment as it’s so public.

No, this is not true. The questioned pool are just insecure housewives

    4. ‚Interacting‘ means what? Having a quick exchange or full-blown flirting?

    5. I’ve never heard this but I don’t find it hard to believe. In my experience in Japan there is an expectation that when you start dating someone you cut contact with basically all friends of the opposite sex.

    6. I call bullshit. Housewives are few and far between these days. Both women and men work and interact daily with both sexes. Dumb ragebaiting article.

My partner would be more worried with me interacting with the same gender

This is a perfectly reasonable thought if the discussion is not in some way business related

Well, I had a lady once tell me she won’t meet me one-on-one anymore because she got herself a boyfriend. I guess people who subscribe to these kinds of views will extend them to online meetings? Seems kind of a stretch to me, though.

I’m any case, I highly doubt it’s 70% of married people actually think that. Hence, I will treat it the same as the [84% of women in Japan think cheating is normal one](https://metropolisjapan.com/why-does-84-percent-of-women-in-japan-think-cheating-is-healthy/)
