I highly doubt that dogs are able to start a change.org campaign…

I would have done and moved to Iceland, but I can’t leave my dog in quarantine for over a month.

What is this poster even talking about, dogs aren’t banned in Reykjavík. If this is about the import and travel of dogs they are just heavily regulated to keep certain diseases from getting into the country not banned.

Absolutely not. The ban was put in place for good reasons.
Needing a dog permit has made dog owners more responsible than in other places in Iceland. In towns like for instance Keflavik (where I’ve spent some time this year), there are too many irresponsible dog owners that will leave their dogs tied up outside in their gardens. Barking at every hour of the day or night and causing a disturbance. In addition too many dog owners will not clean up after their dogs do their business so it’s not unusual to see dog shit on the pavements.
Make the dog ban nation wide and give exemption permits to responsible dog owners.

I do want one of those posters though…
