How the fuck was he sitting there in the first place.

As a kid, I always wondered why the military families I knew were obsessed with neatness.
If they pack that van nicely they would be sitting in the seats and all but the „tail gunner“ would have a 50/50 chance to survive.
Good ol hornet? Looks like a mid range strike with the AI target window.
If they’re matching the speed of that, they weren’t going slow
