EU should freeze/seize all trump and trump associated assets for violating russia sanctions and either give them to ukraine or invest into building EU strategic autonomy.
EU needs to expand natural sites‘ protection, and pass legislation banning any development on or adjacent to them, maybe wannabe members will then think twice before prostituting themselves to assorted Kushners.

This is exactly where EU conditionality should matter: protected-area rules, environmental assessment, and public consultation should hold even when the investor is politically connected.

EU needs to put pressure all the time on the candidate countries , and their leaders , something that has not happened till now.

Such good news. The political class in Albania is deeply corrupt. Both the ruling party and the main opposition party have benefited from the status quo for decades. They make hidden deals, build skyscrapers across Tirana, launder money through the same networks.
They are the dinosaurs of Albanian politics, having remained in power for more than 35 years. The Albanian people could not tolerate it any longer.
Good I hope the EU freezes all talks until the corruption issue is addressed.
