I’m wondering what was going on in the heads of the Americans who either voted for this monstrosity or decided it was totally okay to sit out the last election who hated their country and their fellow countrymen so much that they were willing to see the whole world go down in flames just so they could destroy their own country, How much they must hate humanity in general….

Trump has learned that outrage works. Every tantrum becomes another news cycle, and suddenly the story is his anger instead of the question he was asked.
Credit to Kristen for continuing to push for an actual answer and not letting the insults take over the interview. That is how you break the cycle, stop rewarding the spectacle, stick to the facts, and keep bringing the focus back to the question.
