      The sheer amount of weapons, but specialy ammunition, left from the Cold War is simply astonishing. Surplus small arms ammunition from the Cold War and even WW2 is still extremely common, with Western ammunition being more reliable due to higher manufacturing standards but also air tight ammunition boxes, while Eastern Block ammunition being is more unstable and less long time durable long time

      I bought a sealed box of 1500 7.62 from Czechoslovakia 1973. shoots just fine. nothing wrong with those rounds.

      produced May 1985 … but it still is a German produktion. So this will work as intended. 😉

      being 41 Years old means, it lastet longer than the entire State it was produced to defend. The Wall fell in it´s 40th year 🤣

    5. People missing the fact that this isn’t too show how great the West is in supplying weapons to Ukraine but in showing that often The support of the West has been in sending stuff that the West was going to throw away

      With FFL in the 90s. 35 usd 1000 rnds on sale thru the Seattle wholesaler.

      I 100% destroyed a 70$ Chinese SKS blasting literally 10000s of rounds thru it. :-). I still have the rifle. It slam fires like crazy now. One slam fire incident went thru all 10 in the box. Lol
      Full auto baby… 😆 I lives in the safe now as a fond memory of my mid 30s

      That’s some cheap ass ammo, but not surprising. Steel cartridges are a hallmark of Russian influence.
