Français à Oslo ici depuis 4 ans, jamais vu une année aussi merdique que cette année. À se tirer une balle.

    2. Excellent weather as far as I can concerned. I would rather the rain cool me down than me sweating buckets.

Not the same for everyone but I barely tolerate hot weather. Rain like that is most welcome this time of the year.

I honestly miss the summers in Norway. Miss how clean and fresh everything smells and feels .

    5. a cold summer is welcome this year… been sweating balls for years.. its not like…☺️ aw the sun is up and the weather is nice and warm…. no its like 38 degreese in the shadow and ure like licking the AC to keep cold.. going out side on the padio? nope you will scorch youre feet…

    6. Yeah I’m probably an old grumpy git but that’s incorrect use of POV. Drives me crazy that’s all. People have bastardized it. It should just caption ‘Summer in Norway’.

    7. I have never considered may and early june to be summer, tho this may was the warmest on record. I believe we will have a warm June / July, not as warm as southern europe (thank Odin!). So rain now is good, it will make the hydropower magazine not go empty. We will have our fantastic July with little rain (im slaughtering two goats later tonight just to make sure).

I would happily trade it for where I live, where it’s been in the high 20s-low30s centigrade since March.

Where do you live? Here in the arctic we re chilling under sunny 27 degrees 😎

Sweating in 27 degrees and full sun in Troms, after the earliest spring ever. To be honest, your plight makes it even nicer here. I need to remedy with another sea bath and some ice cream now.

You generally kinda of have to be in Østfold/østlandet/the southern coast to have a nice warm summer here in Norway. We also usually get several weeks every year with 25+ degrees celsius every summer which is basically tropical heat weather for us down here. Last year Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg had over 4 weeks with over 30+ degrees celsius during the day and I thought I was gonna die from the extreme heat last year. Sure we get some rainy and/or windy days but they generally are on the warmer side with 15-22 degrees celsius. Everywhere else in Norway the summer season is kind of bipolar.

    12. Oh, don’t worry, it will be a lot worse for us when climate refugees become a thing.
