Honestly I am amazed the execs there still have a job. Last year they let themselves be swindled by their own people for tank parts and now this. The organization is a joke.
Audit the organisation folks, not just the subsidiaries. Privacy and Data Security in general is a joke in the US, they probably treated it as a minor office using a centralised db but still stored data locally „for convenience“ or whatever other bollocks
Fun fact: I applied to a cybersecurity position in this company some years ago. I’ve never seen more arrogant and clueless people in my life. That would have been expected for a company in finance. But for one in defence?
Plot twist. The hackers were their friends and it was a scheme to make some money on the side.
It’s basically the same as paying the US for their jets and air defense systems that won’t ever get delivered.
