Meaningless gesture that means nothing when they won’t ban trade. It’s not like they were planning to come here anyway.

The government are great at doing things that require no effort and have no real consequences.

Martin would want to watch himself, Satan won’t like this slight again him.

    3. They’d never come here but good stuff nonetheless. The stuff that comes out of some of those in the Israeli government come out are insane.

    4. Stinks of me announcing that despite my best effort I did not manage to qualify for the next olympic games in high dive.

    5. Well, if you’re going to ban anyone then you’ve made two excellent choices with those particular picks.

Well Israeli citizens can still enter Ireland 90 days visa free, so yeah how about lobbying ti deny that?

    7. I was meant to have a job interview this morning until I did a further dive into them and realised they were Israeli . I promptly cancelled the interview I just can’t consciously work for them

    8. It is shocking that the UK sanctioned them both long ago, and we’re only now getting around to this, and the EU still hasn’t sanctioned them.

      Genuinely evil people.

    9. They didn’t strike me as wanting to come to Ireland much. What with us being the home of such rampant and dangerous anti-semitism. /s

It’s just typical of the Irish government to wait for other countries to do it first. We need to take leadership on these issues

    11. Not like they’re coming here anyway. Pass the Occupied Territories Bill to ban goods and services from illegal settlements.

    12. Why? I’d do the opposite, invite them over then arrest the sick twisted bastards and send them to the ICC

    13. Yeah I am sure they were banging down the door for a visit. All posturing bullshit from our government. Shannon still used by US military, no sanctions on Israel. Can’t even cancel a fucking football match.

    14. This is an easy symbolic gesture and many countries have done the same but it simply puts any meaningful action on the long finger yet again.
