Is this voluntary or paid work?
Do you get to fly any?
Looks like something for students of Vives Oostende Vloc!

Imagine asking for compensation for your work..
I´ve got regarded skills 😀
Sounds interesting.
I am very much interested but 2 things are working against me: I live quite far away. I’m situated around Kortrijk International Airport.
The second thing is personal. Technology is made to be used. Used and maintained. I do definitely understand museums and keeping the spirit alive. But using them for what they were made for, is the best thing you can do. See UP4014, 2102 Locomotive, Goodwood Revival, Duxford Airfield). I do understand this is more difficult with planes. How about the engines? Are those operational? Airframe doesn’t have to be airworthy, but make it so it’s all working. To humanise: not just a corpse, but a sleeping machine that can be woken up.
But if there is any historical machines in the area around Kortrijk, I’m most definitely interested.
Volunteer? In this economy? If its paid sure
Just saw it on the news. A lot needs restaurantsion as well.. Why didn’t they take the plains down? Of at least cover everything up before construction began? Dust crawls fucking eeeeverrywhere… 🤦
I’m in!
Hope you find helpful hands!
Is this being done in conjunction with the Friends of the Air Museum asbl? I know they’re already pretty active with restoration work
